The buyers are users who buy services in Duro Market.

The offers custom are unique proposals that a vendor can create specific requirements for a Buyer in response.

The custom orders are requests made by a buyer who want to receive an offer of a Salesman.

The disputes are disagreements experienced during the order between a buyer and a seller in Duro Marketplace.

The Duro Market Balance is the total amount of your Income as a Seller or returned payments from cancelled orders as a Buyer.

The Duro Market credits are credits that Duro Market can provide its users and that can only be used for purchases at Duro Market.

The Extras are additional services offered in addition to the Seller service for an additional price set by him.

Service Packages allow Sellers to offer services in different formats and prices. Packages may include upgrades, allowing Sellers to provide their service at a basic price starting at 5 Naira.

Service / Services are the services offered on Duro Market.

The Order Page is the place where Buyers and Sellers communicate with each other regarding an ordered Service.

The Orders are the formal agreement between Buyer and Seller after a purchase was made from the website of the Service Seller.

  • Duro Market reserves the right to use all published works for promotional and marketing purposes of Duro Market.

Basic knowledge

  • Sellers create Services in Duro Marketplace so that Buyers can buy their services.
  • Sellers may also offer personalized offers to Buyers in addition to their Services.
  • Each Service you sell and successfully complete credits your account with a net income of 90% of the purchase amount.
  • Duro Market credits Sellers once an order is completed. Please see our “Orders” section below for a definition of a completed order.
  • If an Order is cancelled (for any reason), the money paid will be refunded to the Seller’s Duro Market Balance.
  • Sellers may not promote their Services or any Duro Market content through the Google Ads platform.
  • Sellers can withdraw their income using one of the Duro Market withdrawal options (see the Withdrawal Section below for payment terms).
  • Seller rating is calculated based on order reviews posted by Buyers.
  • For security reasons, Duro Market may temporarily disable the Seller’s ability to withdraw income to prevent fraudulent or illegal activities. This may be due to security issues, inappropriate behaviour reported by Buyers, or the association of multiple Duro Marketplace accounts to a single withdrawal provider.
  • Sellers are responsible for paying any direct or indirect taxes, including any taxes on goods and services, VAT or otherwise, that may be applied with their obligations under the income tax provisions in their jurisdiction. The price displayed on the Service Page includes all taxes and fees that may apply to Sellers.
  • Appointment as Limited Payment Collection Agent: Seller hereby appoints Duro Marketplace as Limited Payment Collection Agent authorized by Seller for the sole purpose of accepting payments (through its Payment Service Provider, if applicable ) of the Buyer, and remit those payments to the Seller. The Seller agrees that the Buyer’s payment to Duro Market will be considered equal to the payment made directly to the Seller. The Buyer’s payment obligation to the Seller will be fulfilled upon receipt of payment by Duro Market (or its Payment Service Provider, as applicable), and Duro Market (through its Payment Service Provider, as applicable) is responsible to remit the funds to the Buyer in the manner described in these Terms of Service. In the event that Duro Market (through the payment service provider) does not send said amounts to the Seller, the Seller may only take action against Duro Market and not directly against the Buyer. Seller agrees that Duro Market may describe or otherwise reflect the terms contained in this document in any type of conditions of service, receipts, disclosures or notices, including, but not limited to, receipts provided to Buyers that Duro Market deems necessary or prudent.
  • Duro Market partners with payment service providers and / or banks to collect payments from buyers, transfer those payments from buyers to sellers, and maintain funds for Duro Market balances. All payment services related to the withdrawal of funds on the Duro Market platform are performed by the Duro Market payment service providers.
  • Sellers are responsible for obtaining a general insurance policy in amounts that are sufficient to cover all risks associated with the performance of their services.


  • Sellers can post a selected number of 7 active Services or there could be more depending on their rating.
  • The Services created in Duro Market are user-generated content.
  • Duro Market may remove Extra to website users for violations of these Terms of Service or our Community Rules, which may include, among others, the following violations and / or actions:
    • Illegal or fraudulent services
    • Copyright Infringement, Trademark Infringement, and Third Party Terms of Service Violation Reported Through Our Intellectual Property Claims Policy Found Here
    • Adult-oriented, pornographic, inappropriate, or obscene services.
    • Intentional Copies of Services.
    • Spam, nonsense or violent or deceptive services
    • Deceptive Services for Buyers or Others
    • Resale of regulated goods
    • Offer to prepare academic papers on behalf of Buyers.
    • Services that extend beyond the 30-day duration of service
    • Very low quality services
    • Promote Duro Market or the Duro Market Services through activities prohibited by any law, regulation or third-party terms of service, as well as through any marketing activity that negatively affects our relationships with our users or partners.
  • Services that are removed due to the aforementioned violations may result in suspension of the Seller’s account.
  • Services that are removed due to violations do not meet the requirements to be restored or edited.
  • The Services may be removed from our search function due to poor performance and / or user misconduct.
  • The Services are required to have an appropriate Service image related to the service offered. All Sellers have the option to upload two additional images for their Service. Sellers must offer the same quality of service as shown in the images on their Service. If recurring deliveries are made that do not match the quality shown in the images of the Service, this may cause the Seller’s account to lose level or be permanently disabled.
  • The Services may contain an approved Service Video uploaded through the Service administration tools available at Duro Market.
  • Statements on the Service Page that undermine or circumvent these Terms of Services are prohibited.
  • Eligible Services in select categories may configure Service packages to offer their services in structured formats with various price levels for the selected Service.

Extra services

  • The Extra Services are additional services offered in addition to the Seller Service for an additional price established by the Seller.
  • Extras may be removed for violations of our Terms of Service or our Community Guidelines.
  • The services offered through Extra Services must be related to the base service and part of the deliverables in the order.
  • Extras Services may cover different categories of services that are components of a higher quality service.
  • Sellers have the option to extend the duration of an order for each Extra added to the order. This is to cover the time needed to complete the extra service.

Sending physical deliveries

Some of the services at Duro Market are physically delivered (arts, crafts, collectibles, etc.). For this type of Services, Sellers may decide to add shipping costs. Sellers can add shipping costs for domestic shipments (within the same country) and for international shipments (abroad).

  • Services that include shipping charges must include a physical delivery to Buyers.
  • Shipping charges added to a Service only correspond to Sellers’ spending to ship physical items to Buyers.
  • Important: Buyers purchasing service that require physical delivery will be asked to provide a shipping address.
  • Sellers are responsible for coordinating shipment once Buyer provides the shipping address.
  • Duro Market does not manage or guarantee the shipment, the follow-up, the quality or the state of the materials or their delivery, and will not be responsible for damages or other problems derived from the shipment.
  • A tracking number is a great way to avoid disputes related to shipping. We request that the tracking number, if available, be entered on the Order Page when submitting the job.

Income withdrawal

  • To withdraw your income, you must have an account with at least one of the Duro Marketplace Payment Service Providers for withdrawal methods. All funds that meet the requirements for Withdrawal will be held in your name in an account with the Duro Market Payment Service Provider. The Duro Market Payment Service Provider provides all payment services, including withdrawal services.
  • Your Duro Market profile can be associated with only one account from each Duro Market withdrawal method. A Payment Service Provider retirement account can only be associated with a Duro Market profile.
  • Income is only available for withdrawal from the Income Page and can be withdrawn when you have at least 1000 Naira.
  • To withdraw your disposable income, you must click on the withdrawal provider. designated to initiate the withdrawal process.
  • Withdrawals can only be made in the amount available to you.
  • Withdrawal fees vary depending on the withdrawal method.

  • Buyers can request a specific service from the Post a Request feature. The services requested in Duro Market must be services allowed in Duro Market.


  • Buyers pay Duro Market to create an order from the Seller’s Service Page or a personalized Offer, using the “Order Now” button.
  • Duro Market Payment Service Providers carry out all payment services related to fundraising on the Duro Marketplace platform.
  • Duro Market acts as Seller’s limited authorized payment collection agent for the purpose of accepting payments (through its payment service provider, if applicable) from Buyer and remitting those payments to Seller. The Buyer’s payment obligation to the Seller will be fulfilled upon receipt of payment by Duro Market (or its payment service provider, as applicable), and Duro Market (through its payment service provider, as applicable) is responsible to remit the funds to the Buyer in the manner described in these terms of service. In the event that Duro Market (through the payment service provider) does not send said amounts to the Seller, the Seller may only take action against Duro Market and not directly against the Buyer.
  • In most occasion, Duro Market purchases can be made using one of the following payment methods: credit card, bank transfer, Duro Market credits, or existing Duro Market Balance.
  • Your existing Duro Market Balance will automatically be applied to your next purchase.
  • You cannot offer Sellers to make a payment by any other method than through the Duro site. If you are asked to use an alternative payment method, immediately inform Customer Service here .
  • To protect against fraud, unauthorized transactions (such as money laundering), claims or other liabilities, Duro Market or the payment service providers of Duro Market collect payment information in connection with withdrawals. Payment service providers may also collect any other information that is necessary to propose the processing of withdrawal payments. Duro Marketplace is not exposed to the payment information provided to the Payment Service Providers, and this information is subject to the privacy policy applicable to the Payment Service Provider.   • By using any payment method and / or by providing payment details to make purchases at Duro Market, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are legally authorized to provide such information; (b) you are legally authorized or have permission to make payments using the payment methods; (c) if you are an employee or agent of a company or a person who owns the payment method, that company or person authorizes you to use the payment method to make payments in Duro Market; and (d) such actions do not violate any applicable law.

Basic knowledge

  • Once payment is confirmed, your order will be created and you will be provided with a unique Duro Market order number.
  • Sellers must submit completed files and / or proof of work using the “submit order” button (located on the order page) in accordance with the service that was purchased and advertised on their Service.
  • The “submit order” button cannot be abused by Sellers to circumvent the order guidelines described in these terms of service. Using the “deliver order” button when the order has not been completed may lead to the cancellation of that order after the review, affect the Seller’s rating and generate a warning to the Seller.
  • The order is marked as completed once it is delivered by the Seller and subsequently accepted by the Buyer. The order will automatically be marked as completed if it is not accepted and no amendment request is submitted within 3 days of the order being marked as delivered.
  • We advise our Buyers and Sellers to try to resolve disputes between them. If for any reason this fails after using the Resolution Center or if it detects an illegal use of the Site, users can contact the Duro Market Buyer Service department for assistance here .

Order handling

  • When a Buyer requests a Service, the Seller receives an email notification, as well as on-site notifications while logged in to the account.
  • Sellers must meet the delivery deadlines specified when creating their services. Otherwise, the Buyer may cancel the Order when this Order is marked as delayed, which could harm the status of the Seller.
  • Sellers must submit complete files and / or proof of work using the “Submit Completed Work” button (located on the order page) to mark the order as delivered.
  • Users are responsible for scanning all transferred files for viruses and malware. Duro Market is not responsible for damages that may occur due to the use of the site, the use of the content or the transferred files.
  • Buyers can use the “request dispute” function located on the order page while the order is marked as delivered, if the materials delivered do not match the description that the Seller had on the page of its Service, or if it does not comply with the requirements that the Buyer sent to the Seller at the beginning of the order process.

Reviews (2)

  • Buyer reviews at the end of the order are an essential part of the Duro Marketplace rating system. The reviews demonstrate the Buyer’s overall experience with the Seller and their service. Buyers are encouraged to communicate to the Seller any concerns or doubts regarding the service offered by the Seller while their order is active.
  • Leaving feedback as a buyer is a basic buyer’s prerogative. Comments will not be removed unless there are clear violations of our Terms of Service or our Community Guidelines.
  • To avoid any misuse of our comment system, all reviews must come from legitimate sales executed exclusively through the Duro Market platform by users of our community. Purchases rigged and planned to artificially improve the Seller’s ratings, or to abuse the Duro Market platform with purchases of additional accounts, will result in a permanent suspension of all related accounts.
  • Buyers’ reviews will appear publicly on the Seller’s Service Page.
  • Work Samples are the delivered images and videos that are sent to a Buyer in a delivery message.
  • It is prohibited to withhold the delivery of services, files or information required to complete the content of the Service with the intention of obtaining favourable reviews or additional services.
  • Reply and Post a Comment: Once the work is delivered, the Buyer has three days to respond. If no response is provided within the response period, the Order will be deemed completed.
  • Users can leave their reviews on the order up to 3 days after an order is marked as completed. New reviews cannot be added to an order after 3 days.
  • Sellers cannot request removal of reviews from their Buyers through mutual cancellations.

Disputes and cancellations

We advise our Buyers and Sellers to try to resolve disputes between them.

Basic knowledge

  • Order cancellations can be made at Duro Marketplace, when eligible, through the Buyer Service department or through the Order Dispute Center.
  • Filing a transaction dispute or reversing a payment through your payment provider or your bank represents a violation of these Terms of Service. Doing so may cause your account to be temporarily or permanently disabled. Note: Once you have filed a dispute with your payment provider, funds cannot be refunded due to our obligations to the payment provider.
  • In the event that a Buyer or Seller has a service-related issue on an order, they are encouraged to use the site’s dispute resolution tools to attempt to resolve the matter.
  • Duro Market, through its Payment Service Providers, reserves the right to cancel orders or put funds on hold due to any allegedly fraudulent transaction carried out on the Site.
  • Any transfer and assignment of intellectual property to the Buyer will be subject to full payment for the service and the materials received may not be used if the payment is cancelled for any reason.
  • If an order is cancelled (for any reason), the money paid will be refunded to the balance of the Seller’s Duro Market.
  • Sellers can carry out revisions of deliveries based on the Seller’s Service and the Buyer’s attention. Sellers can determine the number of reviews offered to Customers, including not offering any reviews.
  • Requests for reviews can be made through the order page while the order is marked as delivered.
  • It is prohibited to request more services from Sellers beyond the agreed requirements by using the “Request reviews” button.

Order cancellations

  • Duro Market encourages Buyers and Sellers to resolve mutual service-related disputes using the resolution center.
  • Acceptance of a request to Duro Market to cancel an order will be determined by our Buyer Service team based on a number of factors, including violations of our Terms of Service or our Community Rules, inappropriate behaviour in general, and improper use of the Duro Market delivery system. See below for specific order eligibility.
  • Completed orders (or, as applicable, completed partial deliveries) can be cancelled, upon review by our buyer service team, up to 14 days after the order (or partial delivery) is marked as completed. Please note that orders cannot be partially cancelled. (that is, we can only cancel the entire order when it is justified).
  • In exceptional circumstances where we deem it appropriate, our buyer care team may cancel a completed order up to 14 days after completion. In such cases, the amounts paid for the cancelled order will be returned to the Buyer’s Duro Market Balance and deducted from the Seller’s Duro Market Balance or, if there are insufficient amounts in the Seller’s Duro Market Balance, from such Seller’s future earnings. .
  • Orders cannot be cancelled based on the quality of the service or the materials delivered by the Seller if said service was provided as described on the Service Page. Buyers can rate their experience with the Seller on the order page, including the overall level of quality of service received.
  • Buyers should use the Duro Market Resolution Centre to address their concerns and the desired resolution related to the service provided by the Seller before contacting Buyer Service. The Buyer Service will not take any action against Orders in which the Buyers have not informed their Seller of the problems related to the service of said Seller and will give the possibility for the Sellers to provide a resolution first. This does not include the unauthorized use of Duro Market.
  • Any unauthorized use of Duro Market detected during an order, after being reviewed by our buyer service team, may result in the cancellation of the order. This includes, but is not limited to, harassment, illegal behaviour, or other violations of the Duro Market terms of service.
  • The Duro Market buyer service department will cancel orders taking into account the following reasons (among others):
    • Active orders (after the Buyer submits their requirements and before the Seller completes the delivery in Duro Market)
      • The Seller is delayed and does not respond for more than 24 hours, while the order is marked as delayed.
      • Users show an abusive character towards the other party by threatening negative reviews or using the order materials (logins, personal information) against the other party.
      • Users supplied or included materials that infringe copyrights or trademarks as part of Buyer’s requirements or Seller’s delivery.
      • The user is no longer an active user of Duro Marketplace due to violations of the Terms of Service or the closure of their account.
    • Orders delivered (after the Seller clicks “Deliver Now” and before the order is marked as completed)
      • The Seller uses the delivery system to extend the delivery due date to complete the requested service, but does not provide the service at the end at the time of delivery to the Buyers. Notice: Multiple reported violations will result in permanent account suspension.
      • The Seller does not provide files or proof of work related to the agreed requirements of the order. Note: Our Buyer Services team will review the subjectivity of the materials in question.
      • The Seller requests additional payments, inside or outside the Duro Market platform, withholding the final delivery of the services directly related to the agreed requirements.
      • Seller withholds final delivery of services to improve its ratings.
      • Buyers who abuse the “request reviews” button to obtain more services from Sellers beyond the agreed requirements.
      • Buyers who threaten to leave a negative review to obtain more services from the Seller not related to the agreed requirements.
    • Orders completed (after the order is marked as completed and before the 14-day limitation)
      • Users who have been reported for the use of materials that infringe copyrights or trademarks after verification and with evidence.
      • Buyers who did not purchase commercial use rights and are reported to have used the materials commercially. Note: The Terms of Business Use can be found on the Seller’s Service Page and cannot be retroactively included once the Order has been completed for more than 14 days.
      • The Duro Market buyer service will review the cases of manipulation of the delivery of the order that prevent Buyers and Sellers from fully using our Resolution Centre that allows us to mark the order as completed.


  • Duro Market does not automatically reimburse your payment provider for payments made for cancelled orders. Funds from order cancellations are returned to the Buyer’s Duro Market Balance and are available for future purchases at Duro Market
  • Deposit refund (i.e., refunds directly to your payment provider) can be made by our buyer service team, based on the original payment amount and currency of the order. To prevent fraud and abuse, we limit the total number of times users can request a refund from the payment provider, which is subject to review by our buyer services team. Such refunds may result in an additional fee.

Duro Market credits

In certain cases, Duro Market may offer you credits (“Duro Market Credits” or “Credits”), whether for promotional or other purposes, to be used when purchasing Services and / or other benefits offered on the Site. Your available Credit balance will appear in your account. Your valid Duro Market Credits will be automatically applied to your next purchase and can be viewed in your order summary after ordering. Unless otherwise stated, Duro Market Credits expire three months after you receive them. Duro Market Credits serve only as an incentive to use Duro Market and therefore cannot be redeemed for cash, have no cash value, and are non-refundable. Once used, Duro Market Credits cannot be returned to your account, even if your Order is canceled. Duro Market Credits may be subject to additional conditions and restrictions that will be informed to you when you receive the Credits. Credits may be voided in the event of fraud, misuse, or breach of these Terms. Duro Market reserves the right to modify or cancel the Duro Market Credits program at any time. If you or Duro Market deactivate or suspend your Duro Marketplace account, all the Duro Marketplace Credits in your account that you have not spent will be lost.

  • Duro Market does not offer any guarantee of the level of service offered to Buyers. You can use the dispute resolution tools provided to you on the Order Page.
  • Duro Market does not provide protection for users who interact outside the Duro Market platform.
  • All information and file sharing must be done exclusively on the Duro Market platform.
  • Rude, abusive, inappropriate or violent messages will not be tolerated; These may lead to an account warning or the suspension or deletion of your account.
  • Duro Market is open to everyone. Discrimination against a member of the community based on gender, race, age, religious affiliation, sexual preference, or otherwise is not acceptable and may result in suspension / deletion of your account.
  • Users may not submit proposals or request the parties submitted through Duro Market to contract, commit or pay outside of Duro Market.


  • Users who with the intention of defaming competing Sellers make an order to competing services will be affected, since their comments will be deleted or other measures related to the status of the account will be taken, according to the review made by our Trust and Safety team.
  • Users should refrain from spamming or requesting previous Buyers or Sellers to remove / modify reviews or cancel orders that do not comply with order cancellation or comment policies.
  • Duro Market reviews cases of disputes and returns of payments from the supplier on behalf of the Sellers. While results vary from case to case due to particular return reasons, we work hard to resolve disputes in the Seller’s favor. If the refund case allows it, Duro Market (or one of the Duro Market payment service providers) will return part or all of the income to the Sellers; otherwise, the Seller will be responsible for the return.

Reporting of infractions

If you find any content that may violate our Terms of Service or our Community Guidelines, you should report it to us through the appropriate channels created to handle those issues as described in our Terms of Service. Our Trust and Safety team reviews all cases. To protect individual privacy, research results are not shared. Check our Privacy Policy to learn more here.


Users may receive a warning on their account for violations of our Terms of Service or our Community Rules, or any inappropriate user behaviour reported to our Trust & Safety team. A warning will be sent to the user’s email address and displayed for that user on the website. Warnings do not limit account activity, but may cause them to lose buyer status or be permanently disabled depending on the severity of the violation .

Impersonation and spam : Duro Market takes the security of its members seriously. Any attempt to post or submit malicious content with the intent to harm another member’s account or their computing environment is strictly prohibited. Respect the privacy of our members. Do not contact them with offers, questions, suggestions or any situation that is not directly related to their Services or Orders.

Authentic Duro Market Profile : You may not create a false identity on Duro Marketplace, misrepresent your identity, create a Duro Market profile for someone other than yourself (a real person), or use or attempt to use another user’s account or information. Your profile information, including your description, creating a Duro Market profile for someone other than yourself skills, location, etc., although it may be kept anonymous, must be accurate and complete and must not be misleading, illegal, offensive or harmful. Duro Market reserves the right to require users to carry out a verification process to use the Site (either by identification, telephone, camera, etc.).

Intellectual Property Claims : Duro Market will respond to clear and complete notices of alleged copyright or trademark infringements and / or third party Terms of Service violations. Our procedures for handling intellectual property claims can be reviewed here .

Fraud or illegal use : You cannot use Duro Market for any illegal purpose or to carry out illegal activities.

Abuse and spam

Multiple accounts : To avoid fraud and abuse, users can only have one active account. Any other account that is determined to be created to circumvent the guidelines, cause perks, or mislead the Duro Market community will be deactivated. Mass account creation can lead to deactivation of all related accounts. Note: Any violation of the Duro Market Terms of Service or our Community Rules will result in permanent suspension of all accounts.

Targeted abuse : We do not tolerate users who commit abuse or harassment directed at other users on Duro Market. This includes creating multiple new accounts to harass members through our message or order system.

Selling accounts : You cannot buy or sell Duro Market accounts.

Property restrictions

The Site, including its format, design and general content, is the exclusive property of Duro Market and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. Duro Marketplace®, Service and Services are registered trademarks owned exclusively by Duro Market. Users do not have the right, and specifically agree not to do the following with respect to the Site or any part, component or extension of the Site (including its mobile applications): (i) copy, transfer, adapt, modify, distribute or reproduce it, of any way; (ii) perform disassembly, decomplication, reverse engineering or otherwise attempt to derive its source code, underlying ideas, algorithms, structure or organization; (iii) modify or create derivative works; (iv) remove any copyright notice, identification or any other proprietary notices, or; (v) use the Site in any way that may damage, disable, overburden or impair the Site, or interfere with the enjoyment of the Site by other users. Users also agree not to allow or authorize anyone else to do any of the above.

Rights over comments

To the extent that you provide Duro Market with any comment, suggestion or other review about the Duro Market platform or the Site as a whole, as well as other Duro Market products or services (collectively, “Comments”), it will be deemed that you have given to Duro Market exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid, perpetual, irrevocable and total property rights on the comment. Duro Market is not obliged to implement what is received in the comment of any user.


Sellers must recognize that it may be necessary for Buyers to disclose certain confidential information for Sellers to use in order to deliver commissioned work, and that they will protect such confidential information from unauthorized use and disclosure. Therefore, Sellers agree to treat any information received from Buyers as highly confidential, classified and confidential material. Without leaving aside the generality of the foregoing, the Sellers specifically agree to (i) keep all this information strictly confidential; (ii) not disclose the information to third parties; (iii) not use the information for any purpose, except to deliver the work commissioned; and (vi) not copy or reproduce any information without the permission of the Buyer.

General conditions

  • Duro Marketplace reserves the right to permanently suspend or deactivate an account for breach of these Terms of Service or our Community Rules, or for any illegal or inappropriate use of the Site or services.
  • Violation of the Duro Marketplace Terms of Service or our Community Rules may cause your account to be permanently deactivated.
  • Users with disabled accounts will not be able to sell or buy in Duro Market.
  • Users who have violated our Terms of Service or our Community Rules, and whose account has been deactivated, can contact our Buyer Services team to learn more about their violation and account status.
  • Users have the option of enabling Account Security features to protect their account from any unauthorized use.
  • Users must be able to verify the ownership of their account through Buyer Service by providing information that proves the ownership of said account.
  • Sellers may withdraw their income from disabled accounts after a security period of 90 days after full verification of the ownership of the account in question, from the day of the last settled payment received in their account and subject to the approval of Duro Market .
  • Disputes must be managed by using the Duro Market dispute resolution tools (“Resolution Centre” on the Order Page) or by contacting the Duro Marketplace Buyer Service.
  • Duro Marketplace may make changes to its Terms of Service from time to time. When these changes are made, Duro Market will post a new copy of the Terms of Service on this page.
  • You understand and agree that, if you use Duro Marketplace after the date the Terms of Service have been modified, Duro Marketplace will understand that you accept the updated Terms of Service.

User generated content

User Generated Content refers to content added by users as opposed to content created by the Site. All content uploaded to Duro Marketplace by our users (Buyers and Sellers) is User Generated Content. Duro Market does not verify the suitability of the content uploaded or created by the user, or if it infringes copyrights, trademarks, other rights or if it commits other infringements. We invite everyone to report violations along with proof of ownership, as appropriate. Reported infringing content can be removed or disabled.

Furthermore, Duro Marketplace is not responsible for the content, quality or level of service provided by Sellers. We do not provide any guarantees with respect to the Services, their delivery and any communication between Buyers and Sellers. We encourage users to take advantage of our rating system, our community, and common sense to choose the right services.

By offering a service, the Seller agrees to have sufficient permissions, rights and / or licenses to provide, sell or resell the service offered in Duro Marketplace.


Ownership and limitations: when a Service is purchased at Duro Marketplace, unless otherwise clearly stated on the Seller’s page or Service description, when the work is delivered, and subject to payment, the Buyer is granted all rights copyright, including, but not limited to, copyright in work submitted by Seller, and Seller waives all moral rights in such Service. Submitted work will be considered contract work under Nigerian Copyright Law. In the event that the work submitted does not meet the requirements of the contract work or when the Copyright Law of the Nigerian does not apply, the Seller expressly agrees to assign the copyright of the work submitted to the Buyer. Any transfer and assignment of intellectual property to the Buyer will be subject to full payment for the Service and delivery may not be used if payment is cancelled for any reason. For the avoidance of doubt, in custom-created work (such as artwork, design work, reporting, etc.), the work submitted will be the exclusive property of the Buyer, and the Seller will assign all rights, titles and interests in the work delivered. Some Services (even for custom created jobs) charge additional fees (via Extra Services) for a Commercial Use License. This means that if you purchase the Service for personal use, you will have all the rights you require for such use and you will not need the Commercial Use License. If you intend to use it in exchange for any office or other compensation,

Furthermore, users (both Buyers and Sellers) agree that, unless they explicitly indicate otherwise, the content that users voluntarily create or upload to Duro Market, including videos, photos, Service texts, usernames, photos User videos, user videos and any other information, including the display of the work submitted, can be used by Duro Marketplace without any consideration for marketing or other purposes.
