What are the Service extras?

Service extras are additional services offered apart from the seller’s service for a specified additional price.

Is my personal information confidential?

We care about your privacy. You can read our Privacy Policy here . The Privacy Policy is part of our Terms of Service .

How do I register and activate my account?

Once you log in to Duro Market, you will receive an activation email. You just have to click on the link in the email to activate your account. If you can’t find the activation email, check your spam folder.

Note : If your email is already associated with a Duro Market account, you will not be able to use it to create a new account.

How do I configure my billing information?

Once you have completed the Billing Information in your account settings, you will automatically receive invoices after each purchase. Make sure the details are accurate and detailed, as the original invoices will be based on this information.

In order to change the password, you must go to PROFILE and on the left side at the end is the link to change the password or you can test directly with this here


Can I include personal contact information in my BIO or service description?

Contact information may NOT be included in the bio or in the description of the services. When this violation is detected, the services will be paused until these contacts are deleted.

In case of repetitive infringement the account can be blocked and all services eliminated.

Do I have to pay taxes on the income obtained in Duro Market?

It is the sole responsibility of sellers to verify their personal tax liability, report and pay taxes in accordance with the laws of the country as applicable and required by Nigerian laws and regulations. As well as granting an invoice if the client needs it.

Can I withdraw money from my Duro Market account?

You can withdraw money from your Duro Market account only if you are a service provider and have generated profits though, the profits generated through Duro Market are deposited into your sales balance and are available for withdrawal when the minimum withdrawal is reached.

Can I buy services with my income?

You can purchase services with your earned income if you have enough to complete the entire purchase. Please note that in cases where the service costs more than your compensated income, you cannot divide the purchase between your income and one of the payment providers (eg wire transfer, credit card etc.).

Can I cancel my withdrawal?

Withdrawals are final and cannot be undone. We will not be able to refund or change this process once it has started.

Is there a fee when withdrawing income?

Yes we charge 15% withdrawal fee for payment processing fee.

How long does it take for me to receive the proceeds of an order?

Buyers pay Duro Market for pre-orders. Once the order is created and initiated, sellers must fulfil their orders as described in their service description and must provide complete proof of service.

Once the job is delivered, the buyer has three days to respond and post a review. If no response is provided within the response time, the order will be considered completed. Once the order is marked as complete, your funds can be withdrawn.

How much can Duro Market charge for my service?

On Duro Market you have the right to charge what you like in relation to your services as long as it remains between 5 Naira and 5M. You decide which prices best suit your professional work.

How much does Duro Market cost?

Joining Duro Market and starting selling is totally free. There is no membership fee or subscription fee to pay. Duro Market will keep only 15% of each service that you complete as a seller.

How can I contact a seller?

In order to contact a seller, Duro Market provides a chat that began with the service purchase process and ends with the final delivery of the service.

How does Duro Market pay me?

The platform can generate payments through a local bank transfer to your trusted bank.

To know the progress of your order, you can use the chat of the service provider to keep in touch with the seller.

Can I withdraw money from my Duro Market account?

If you received a refund after a purchase as a customer, it will appear in your purchase balance to be used in another purchase of equal or lesser value than the amount of your balance.

Why was my payment declined?

Payments can be declined for different reasons. If your payment has been declined, check the following:

  • Make sure you have entered your payment details correctly.
  • Make sure your credit or debit card is valid and has not expired.
  • Check that you have funds available on your card.

Generally, the source of payment has more information than we do about the reason for rejecting your payment. Therefore, we recommend checking directly with your bank.

Does my payment go directly to my service provider?

No, your payment reaches Duro Market and once the service is satisfactory on your part or after 3 days without response after the seller delivered their service, the money will go to the seller’s account.
